Re: CreateColorTransform() fail ICM Color
Hi Bob, Welcome to the forum neighbor! Regarding your question, the following was provided near the top of the Unit1.cpp file included with the demo: #if defined(__BORLANDC__) // fix for BCB #undef LCS_SIGNATURE #undef LCS_sRGB #define LCS_SIGNATURE 'COSP' #define LCS_sRGB 'BGRs' #endif Do you also ...

Unfortunately, there are not too many C++Builder books in existence (though, there are several on Delphi). I don't even recall the most recent C++Builder book.
I own at least three C++Builder books, the latest one (BCB6 Dev. Guide) from 2002.
Thanks in advance for your votes.

Android and Linux here. I've done console apps on OS X, but that doesn't really count.

I still use only a single monitor. No good reason, just so used to it. I think it's time to add at least one more!

March 2012 Developer's Poll
It is well known that the C++ compiler in C++Builder does not generate fast code. For example, compared to Visual Studio or g++, some of my image-processing algorithms take twice as long to complete (or more) when compiled in C++Builder. The same exact code. So, for me, there are many parts of my co...

Re: January 2012 Developer's Poll
After three weeks of training a few weeks of fiddling with LabView, I determined Builder was the only way to go for sophisticated bench automation with a *strong* database backbone. Steve: I totally agree regarding LabView. It has it's strengths, but I've found C++Builder to be stronger in many res...

November/December 2011 Developer's Poll
One could argue that the true power of C++Builder stems from its ability to support custom components (and thereby support RAD). Assuming you write components, how many of your own components do you actually use? Not how many instances, but how many different components? Thanks in advance for your v...

Without Ribbons, I think C++Builder lacks a good toolbar. The list above reflect my order of preference, but even TActionToolBar is not as polished as MFC's old toolbars, especially when it comes to docking.
