IntraWEB+Indy or no?

Postby Lena » Wed Mar 11, 2015 2:32 am

Hi.
Many devices send json data. I need to save this json data in the database. Then at the request of a web pages to display based on the data from this database (postgresql).
I want to try to build a server based on the IntraWEB+Indy.
Indy saves the data into the database (TIdTCPServer+OnExucite+FireDAC=save data in database). IntraWEB shows web pages. This approach is the right one?
Where I must put TIdTCPServe on IWUserSession form or IWServerController form?
May be better use TIdHTTPServer?
Thank you.

P.S.
What about DataSnap webbroker server for my purposes?

That is entirely up to you, based on your needs, and whether IntraWeb meets those needs.

You don't, nor is that the right approach anyway. You would run TIdTCPServer on its own alongside IntraWeb, not inside of it.

Again, that is more a matter of personal choice.
