Form Upper Left Corner Bitmap

Postby smd » Mon Jun 08, 2015 7:36 pm

Firemonkey XE8

In the upper left corner of all my forms is a small bitmap of a red circle with C++ in it.

How do I change the bitmap graphic?

I looked in the form properties, but it is not obvious if any of those entries control that bitmap. Of course the help system... it is an Embarcadero help system... so is impossible to find info about it.

Are you talking about the icon that displays for the program? It's the one that not only displays in the upper left hand corner but also is displayed for the program itself and any shortcuts to the program. Unless it's changed from the earlier versions, here's how I do it. First, it's not a bitmap but an icon (*.ico) so you will need the icon you want to display.

Once the program is open in Builder, go into Project->Options->Application. You should see the current icon and the load button. Press the load button and find your icon. Once the icon is loaded, save the changes. I've noticed that if I build the project for 32-bit, I also have to repeat this process for 64-bit.
