software copy protection

Postby Azazaz » Mon Feb 22, 2016 11:09 pm

Wondering if anyone here uses software copy protection, and if so, what your experience with it has been?

What do you use?
Why do you use it? (Believe in it, employer requires it, etc.)
Is it really worth the cost?
What is your general overall feeling or philosophy about using it?

Thanks.

The software copy protection SDKs or companies charge alot of money to protect your software so unless you have a huge budget to purchase this type of protection your best bet is to use a product key that you can trap when it is illegally used.

Here is a cheap version of a key protector - http://www.exeshield.com
