The question has come up about CodeGear's buyout.

I voted (c) because I really don't know the new company, but I hope everything to go fine and C++ Builder to remain the best RAD tool for C++ development .

In my Borland's Turbo Vision for C++ User's Guide - 1991 writes
"With Turbo Vision and object-oriented programming, you don't have to reinvent the wheel-you can inherit ours!"

I just wish the new company to continue in the same spirit .

Best Regards

I read both links about it...
Also I read a comment from Charlie Calvert a person I appreciate and he is in favor.
Having in mind that his history with BCB is greater than mine, I think that he knows better...
Here in Greece we have a saying that goes as: "When you hear about lots of cherries, have a small basket"
So till more news about it and especially their plans for BCB and not only Delphi, JBuilder etc, I'm going with (c)...

My vote was also a don't know - because I am not familiar with Embarcadero, or their parent.

I find that the published write ups about corporations prepared by the marketing departments are about as useful as a null pointer.
